The highly anticipated movie 'Agent' featuring Akhil is set to release this Friday, with US premieres following on Thursday, April 27th.
The film received a UA certificate with a runtime of 156 minutes from the censor board, despite the violent trailer leading many to expect an A rating.
The producer's date lock forced the director to complete post-production work just ten days prior to release. The film was subject to eight cuts and three mutes, with the censor board demanding removal of beheading visuals, a reference to 'PM,' and blood on the hero's face and body.
The board also suggested muting specific words with subtitles. Despite these changes, Akhil remains hopeful about the movie's success, particularly in light of underwhelming buzz surrounding its Telugu competition, PS 2. Fans eagerly await the film's performance in theaters.
